Yarn Love: Elizabeth Bennet

I’m not sure that I can adaquately descibe this yarn. It’s 60% merino, 20% bamboo and 15% silk, and 5% an obvious error on the part of the description, because that leaves 5% unaccounted for. Heck, it could be 5% MAGIC for all I care. This is the squishiest, softest, most amazing sock yarn that I have ever owned IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! Edited to add: apparently it is 65% merino, some yarn was mislabeled.

I’m not joking. Literally, I wish this yarn would be yarnharloted, because it deserves it. (Yarnharloted simply means that Stephanie mentions something on her blog and hordes of people buy it on her recommendation.) I take that back. I don’t want it to be yarnharloted. I nearly didn’t get my own Elizabeth Bennet from Eat, Sleep, Knit—I think I bought the last two skeins!

 This puts me at 420 yards into my Yarnathon! For the uninformed, once you reach certain milestones, you get surprises and treats and things. I’m working for the 1 mile marker for now! I ordered it late Thursday night and it reached me Monday morning. That was a treat.

 Now I simply have to wait for the next Yarn Love update…you know, unless it gets yarnharloted.
